2.6k circuit

Today was hot! not so many teams where signed up for today's race but the teams where full! The circuit was tight and small and the roads where rough!  We wanted to keep Monia safe today as she had a good chance of a podium place today as it was more than likely going to be a sprint finish. 

We had 30 laps to do, the first 15 laps where not so bad and the team kept the bunch together for the sprinters!  Safi pasta worked hard to keep the race together for Bronzini.  The final 10 laps I kept up front with Alessandra D'ttore as the pace went up and alot of attacks began!  I was not feeling so great today, in fact my legs have not felt great since my crashes in Holland and Fracturing my arm! I guess it is taking more energy out of me than I realize!! But non the less I had a job to do and once I knew Monia was up front for the final few laps I was content as I knew she would have the legs for good sprint today.   

The last lap was very fast with Safi on the front Bronzini took the win Gillmore second and Monia 3rd!!! I was really happy for Monia.  The rest of us finished in the bunch which by the finish was pretty strung out!!      Another good result for the team!   next race on Tuesday in Italy then of to San Marino for a 3 day stage race!

Result: Go Saccarelli!!  Two in the top ten is not a bad day's work....
