I returned home this week after racing in Spain for 6 days with my team.   We had a great time in Spain especially with our first win of the season!! The team worked hard to ensure Monia kept her position on GC, so a good job done!

We live in a beautiful town called Marsciano which sits in a dip so it is always very muggy and hot!! So it was a shock to return home this week to rain! I don't mind the rain but it is June and it has been raining every day since I have returned home! I am looking forward to returning to Italy to feel the heat on my face again!

I went out training with my mate Darren today.  Darren  is shortly going to compete in his first Ironman!! He is a great training partner as we spur each other on without ripping each other's legs of too much!! Good Luck Darren in your first Ironman!!

I am enjoying my time at home especially as I get to see my husband Jez who is mega busy at work at the moment so I am not actually seeing that  much of him! Oh well guess that means I will have take a Mocha after my training alone! all the more for me then!

This week I will be focusing on making sure I am ready for the National's and also the Giro D'Italia which starts on the 6th July.  So it is just a case of letting everything soak in now and it may even be sunny on Saturday! Not!
